Long point Cove

This post is written by Geneva: Hey people of the earth we are still having a blast (and trust me with the wind we are having it is a blast). Anyway my family and I just came from Long Point Cove. We got to climb a humongous cliff, it was beautiful up there and I got a bunch of pictures. The cliff was about flat in the front so we had to take a back route with all the trees and little rocks to hold. Erin and I got to go swimming and jump off the arch. I know what you are asking “Wasn’t the water cold?” The answer is maybe. But you will never know. You have to find out from the pictures of us swimming. Now…. Take it away Erin!!!!!

Update from Erin
Having fun!!!!! Now it has been almost 3 weeks. The weeks have one by so fast. We have just come into Gore Bay. It is a very nice place with some little stores. We were out of civilization for a number of days and it was a lot of fun. We went hiking at Long Point Cove over these huge cliffs. When we were up there, we could see for miles. That night we had a camp fire on the rocks and roasted marshmallows.

Looks like you're having the time of a lifetime. It's so cool to be keeping up with you via blog. Girls...your writing is excellent! I think we have a couple of journalists in the making. Keep it up. We'll look forward to every post. Happy sailing!

Greetings from Indiana. We are visiting the Rawlings and having a great time. Looks like you've seen some beautiful sites. I'm guessing the water was probably cold. I have been in mountain lakes in Wyoming and brrrrr, so it couldn't be too warm where you're at. I will however take your word for it, as my curiosity has waned over the years. Great to hear from you, as we all enjoy the updates. Marty

Greeting from Uncle Al the kiddies pal and Aunt Jan. The area looks spectacular, Guessing from the "campfire" I think the water was a bit cold. That was a neat picture of all of the sailboats heading out. we have enjoyed watching your progress on spot and then trying to look at it on satellite. So who is getting the best tan, and has anyone caught any fish. Have you seen any Lake Huron crocodiles yet, I hear they had an infestation recently and they love stuffed bears, do not let your bear near the edge because these crocs are vey good at smelling. When they were placed in lake huron they wee only given the bear necessities. We will continue to toast you every evening with a glass of wine ( and milk for Geneva and Erin). I would like a crocodile belt.

Hi Guys! I'm a little late to the party, so I need to catch up on things.

I'm glad to see that Quzie is getting out and seeing the sites, although I can't imagine what she did to be put in the stockade.

The other day the spot locator showed you guys doing a figure eight ... on land!!! We have our guess as to who was navigator at the time :-)

We're looking forward to seeing the dot making steady progress toward Sandusky. Stay safe and have fun. We'll see you soon.

Cheers,
